Echoes of Singlularity
This scene test using dummy dialogue developed from the beats of the film idea was used to explore the characters, particularly the mother who is the protagonist.
I wanted to test the latest model (Seedance 2.0) as of the time of writing 6th May 2026 and its ability to act. I did the best job of any model I have used to date and even takes video and audio inputs for reference of mannerisms and inflections of people to project onto the characters.
Echoes of Singularity (working title) started with a simple cinematic world exploration, then developed into a character study and is being written as a feature film.
I deliberately avoided doing Sci Fi in AI as everyone was, but I do love it and so couldn’t resist forever. I have ideas I wanted to explore and. the world evolved then the characters emerged. The female character’s pose, created in Midjourney I could not get out of my head so I began exploring a story around her.
The masked characters and Oracle character with the blue eyes also drew me in so am working on building the story around them.
